Reliance - Agnes Sunada Tabuchi, 83 of Reliance died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah after a short illness. She was born May 22, 1923 in Green River, the daughter of Morijiro Sunada and Toku Kurokawa Sunada. Agnes attended schools in Green River. She married Yoshio Tabuchi on October 14, 1940 in Manila, Utah. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1988. She was a member of the Sweetwater County Historical Society and the Rock Springs Young at Hearts Senior Center. She was a Pilot Butte VFW Life Member #2321. Her interest was participating in the March of Dimes Walk America where she received the Top Female Walker award for 14 years. Her other interests were exercising at the Rock Springs Family Recreational Center from the time if first opened, sewing, cooking, and her family. Survivors include three sons, Richard Tabuchi of Westminster, Colorado, Ron Tabuchi and wife Marian of San Jose, California, and Randy Tabuchi and wife Kathy of Rock Springs; three daughters, Beverly Hanhisalo of San Jose, California, Margaret Numoto and husband Ken and Linda Young and husband Leonard all of Denver, Colorado; one sister Edith Sunada of Green River; 17 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Yoshio; one daughter, Alanna Rae; four brothers, George, Kayo, Leo and Ray; three sisters, Mary, Mae, and Janet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 pm Friday January 26, 2007 and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Mt. View Section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Family request donations to be made to the March of Dimes Walk America, 800 Werner Court #321, Casper, WY 82601.
