Albina Wisniewski Rock Springs - Albina Wisniewski, 99, of Rock Springs died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Deseret Health & Rehab in Rock Springs surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 27, 1915 in Rock Springs, the daughter of John K. Hafner and Josephine Mueller Hafner. She attended schools in Rock Springs. Albina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a loyal neighbor and friend. She was a member of the SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church. She had a great sense of humor. Albina was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. She married the late Stanley Wisniewski on October 28, 1931 in Rock Springs. Together they raised four wonderful children. Survivors include her daughter JoAnn Smith of Rock Springs; three sons, Stanley Wisniewski Jr. and wife Debbie of Madison, Alabama, Allen Wisniewski and wife Patty and George Michael Wisniewski and wife Donna all of Rock Springs; 16 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Stanley Wisniewski in 2000, her parents, son-in-law Ray Smith, and brother William Hafner. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm with vigil service and rosary at 7 pm Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, north of Rock Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901; or Hospice of Sweetwater County, 809 Thompson St., Suite D, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
