Alfred L. Rizzi

Al L. Rizzi Sr. Rock Springs - Al L. Rizzi Sr., 66 of Rock Springs died Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs. He was born September 23, 1944 in Rock Springs, the son of Guerino and Lilly Franch Rizzi. He attended schools in Rock Springs. He married Anna Shalata on March 4, 1964 in Rawlins. They were later divorced. He had been employed by NL McCullouch for 30 years until his retirement. His interests were camping, fishing, the outdoors, riding his Harley and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include two sons, Al L. Rizzi Jr. and Donnie L. Rizzi and wife Brandy J. all of Rock Springs; brothers, August Rizzi and wife Sherry of Rock Springs and Art Rizzi of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Steven and Jesse Rizzi, Cris Orion and Dominic V. Rizzi all of Rock Springs; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guerino and Lilly Rizzi and one son Cris Alan Rizzi. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory. At his request, no services will be held.
