Green River - Allen D. Hart, 84, of Green River died April 26, 2005 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 17, 1921 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, the son of Richard and Frankie Frazier Hart. Allen attended schools in Fillmore, Oklahoma and graduated from high school with the class of 1938. He served in the US Navy during WWII and received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the Bronze Star for good conduct. He married Juanita Gatewood on May 15, 1948 in Reno, Nevada. She preceded him in death on October 14, 2003. He had been employed for Ford Motor Co. for 31 years until his retirement ine Jan. 1, 1980. Allen was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM in Tishomingo, OK and the McAlaster Scottish rite 32nd Degree Mason in McAlaster, OK. His interests were fishing and hunting. Survivors include two daughters; Linda Boling and husband Jerry of Green River, WY, and Kathy Barone and husband Steve of San Jose, CA; two sisters, Joan Tomlin and Francis Peterson and husband Floyd all of San Martin, CA; 5 granchildren, Tony, Jason, Stefanie, Wes and Melissa; 3 great grandchildren, Dani, Tristin, and Rylee; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Frankie Hart, brother, Jimmy, and sister Juanita “Tug” Callen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Church of Nazarene, Fillmore, Oklahoma. Rev. Kenneth Mcarthic and Rev. Eugene Ledford officiating. Interment with military honors will be at the Condon Grove Cemetery, Milburn, OK. Pallbearers will be Don Reed, Jerry Enole, Glenn Moore, Dale Callen, Terry and Ralph Ragan. Fox Funeral Home, Rock Springs, funeral directors.
