Eden, WY - Amy Lou Sellers, 73, of Eden died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born April 16, 1942 in Afton, Wyoming, the daughter of Orlan Alma White and Laura Bell Swenson White Coy. She attended school in Afton and graduated from Afton High School with the class of 1960. She continued for many years taking college classes to increase her knowledge and abilities.
She married Eugene Elden Sellers August 8, 1960 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death October 28, 2011.
She had worked as a school librarian for years. She also was a volunteer as an EMT with the Farson - Eden Ambulance Service.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Farson Women’s Club, and assisted with the school Drama Club designing costumes and applying makeup.
Her interests were all types of crafts and handiwork, crocheting and quilting, being in the outdoors and mountains, hiking, riding horses and bikes, playing music, (the piano, organ, and guitar), and singing at events. She was very musical and played with her father in a band when she was in high school.
Survivors include her sons: Dal Eugene Sellers, (and wife, Kathy), of Preston, Idaho, Elde Scott Sellers, (and wife, Linda Louise), of Ladson, South Carolina, Lony Dee Sellers, (and wife, Lisa), of Woodruff, Utah, Fane Robert Sellers of New Castle, Wyoming, Fane’s former wife, Rosemary Sellers of Rexburg, Idaho, Kaly Don Sellers, (and wife, Traci), of Afton, Wyoming; daughter ,Linda Lou Sellers Simonson, (and husband, Adrian), of Casper, Wyoming; brothers Leland Swenson White, Phillip Swenson White and Thomas Swenson White; sisters Verla Warren, Oleta Hunter, and Phyllis Bendixon; 34 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 9 step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents,, husband, ( Eugene Sellers), sons, (Rod Sellers and Zeno Sellers), grandson, (Nathan Eugene Sellers), granddaughter, (JuliAnn Sellers), sister, ( Deola Warren), brothers, (Ralph V. White and Alma Orlan White).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Eden Valley Community Center, Farson, WY where family and friends can visit for the hour prior to the services.
Interment will take place in the Eden Valley Cemetery, Farson.
