Green River- Ann Bullock, 90, of Green River died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River.
She was born May 27, 1920 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of John Michael and Minnie Alice Ferguson Genta. She was raised in Ogden where she attended school and graduated from high school with the class of 1938. Following graduation she moved to Mountain Vew, Wyoming to help on her fathers ranch.
During World War II she moved back to Utah to take a job at the Ogden Arsenal at Hill Air Force Base where she worked with munitions and packed shells for the war effort. She also worked as a waitress, housecleaner, desk clerk and store clerk. She retired in 1984 from working in the gift shop at Little America.
She married Andrew Fenus on August 4, 1945 in Evanston, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1952. She married Myrl Bullock on May 13, 1958 in Wamsutter, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1997.
Ann liked to stay busy. Her interests included reading, crocheting, doing crafts, gardening, visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed hunting, but fishing was her main passion. She fished up until last year and enjoyed every minute of it.
Survivors include two sone James Fenus and wife Cindy of Modesto, California and John Fenus and wife Susan of Vernal, Utah; daughter Bonnie Bullock Allen and husband Frank of Green River; nine grandchildren, Shawn Fenus and wife Jennifer, Mary Lettau and husband Jim, Brandon Fenus, Charity Pierce, Wes Fenus, Sara Fenus, Brandi Fenus, Jenny Noon and husband Adam, and Andy Fenus; four great-grandchildren C.J. Lettau, Kiana Thrash, Jaden Thrash, Miriah Fenus; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew Fenus and Myrl Bullock, parents John and Minnie Genta, step-mother Dora Rackham Genta, three brothers, Joe Genta, Raymond (Ted) Genta, and France Genta, and one step-sister Arleta Bullock,
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
At her request, no services will be held.
