Anna M. Sweet Rock Springs - Anna M. Sweet, 69, of Rock Springs died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness. She was born December 27, 1944 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Edgar L. Estep and Gertrude McGeary Estep. She attended schools in Ohio and graduated from Avon Lake High School. She married Stuart O. Sweet. He preceded her in death. Her interests were her grandchildren, playing bingo, her friends and dogs. Survivors include her daughters Elizabeth D. Crockett and husband Matthew of Rock Springs, and Susan M. Ball and husband James of Thornton, Colorado; sister Doris J. Asher of Columbia Station, Ohio; grandchildren Hanna, Kelsey and Abigail Crockett, Conor, Adam and Evan Ball; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Stuart Sweet; son Thomas L. “Tommy” Goerke; brothers Daniel L. Estep and KayDon Estep; sisters Dorothy L. Homer and Doloris M. Norton; parents and grandparents. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services and inurnment will take place at a later date.
