Rock Springs - Anne R. Grenier, 87, of Rock Springs died Thursday, February 1, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 23, 1919 in Maryville, North Dakota the daughter of David Grandbois and Florence Laverdure.
She graduated from St. Stephens High School in South Dakota with the class of 1937.
She married Armand Grenier on June 4, 1942 in Rolla, North Dakota.
He preceded her in death on November 22, 1993.
Anne was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary of Rock Springs. She was also a member of the Holy Spirit Community.
Her interest was spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon Grenier and Wife Connie, Curtis Grenier and friend Evonna, all of Rock Springs; three daughters, Jennifer Grenier and Gale Farless both of Rock Springs, Mary Ellis and husband Dave of Tucson Arizona; one brother Gene Grandbois of Belcourt, North Dakota; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Armand, one daughter Carol Jenkins, one brother Leo, and five sisters, Eleanor, Amy, Leona, Cecilia, and Sadie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. Father Carl Beavers will officiate.
Friends may call Monday afternoon until 7:00 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
