Archie Mackrell

Archie Mackrell Jr. Green River - Archie Mackrell Jr., 55, of Green River, died March 9, 2009 at his home in Green River. He was born December 30, 1953 in Salt Lake City, the son of Archibald and Shirley Bingham Mackrell. He attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from Granite High School with the class of 1972. He had been employed as a pipefitter for many years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. His interests included fishing, camping, boating, riding motor cycles, music, playing cards with family, and tinkering. Survivors include two brothers; Paul Mackrell and with Cheryl, and Ronald Albert and wife Robbie, all of Green River; two sisters, Connie Pratt of West Valley City, Utah, and Julie Hays and husband Brian of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family service will be held at a later date.
