Arlene "Leanie" Pritchard Rock Springs - Arlene "Leanie" Pritchard, 68, of Rock Springs, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a sudden illness. She was born December 12, 1942 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Robert and Hannah Overy Pritchard. She attended elementary school in Superior and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1961. She also attended Henager Business College in Salt Lake City. She was employed by School District #1 for 46 years, starting at Rock Springs Jr. High which later became East Jr. High. She was known for providing lunch money to any student who might have forgotten. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of Tops Club 107. Her interests were spending time with her nieces and nephews, along with great and great-great nieces and nephews, attending family get togethers, playing Bunco, candy making, decorating for holidays, cooking, country music. and pancake making. She was an avid Elvis fan. Survivors include sisters Annie Phillips and Alice Burke of Rock Springs; nieces and nephews Beverly and Mark Timlin, Elise and Paul Haapala, Becky, John, Kevin, and Jessica Yerkovich, all of Rock Springs, Jeannie Yerkovich of Salt Lake City, Jan and Jason Crompton of Evanston, Darla, David, Chris and Cara Kelsey, Billie and Ross Condie, Cammie Olah, Darrell, Holly and Zachary Burke, all of Rock Springs; great-great niece and nephew Alyson Hunter and Ashton Kelsey of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother Arthur Pritchard, and brother-in-law Bill Phillips. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 16, 2011 at the Rock Springs LDS Stake Center, 2055 Edgar St., Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday April 15, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Saturday 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment will take place in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rock Springs.
