Augus John Tolar

August John Tolar Jr. Rock Springs - August John Tolar Jr., 60, died suddenly December 5, 2005 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a lengthy illness. He was born November 7, 1945 in Rock Springs, the son of August John Tolar Sr. and Viola May Hubbard. He attended schools in Rock Springs and was a life long resident. He had been employed in the construction business. Mr. Tolar served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the American Legion Archie Hay Post 24 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. His interests included hunting, fishing, his dog “Rusty”, and his nieces and nephews. Survivors include two sisters; Peggy Cordova and husband Ben of Rock Springs, and Louise Cole and husband Cliff of Denver, Colorado; neices, Elizabeth Short, Maria Lopez, Ayiana Lopez all of Rock Springs, Cliff Cole of Florida, Vernon, Brenda, Brittany, Brendon, Jeremy, and Tamara Cole all of Denver. He was preceded in death by his parents, one niece, Nikki Johnston, and one nephew, Gordon Cole. Cremation will take place a Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
