Beatrice Eudora Beck Green River - Beatrice Eudora Beck, 101, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home in Green River after a lengthy illness. She was born February 15, 1911 in Birch Creek, Daggett County, Utah, the daughter of Zebulon Edwards and Catherine Hill Edwards. She attended Vernal High School, Vernal, Utah. She married Larence Ruben Beck June 3, 1931 in the Manti LDS Temple, Manti, Utah. He preceded her in death November 23, 1963. She had been employed as a cook for the Daggett County High School from 1951 to 1975. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served an LDS mission to Louiseville, Kentucky from 1977 to 1978. Her interests were genealogy, gardening, cooking, photography, crocheting, and reading. Survivors include her sons Milton Beck of McKinnon, Wyoming, and Ron Beck and wife Ruth of Green River; daughter Leah May Benson and husband Myron of Newton, Utah; daughter-in-law Lorraine Beck of Green River; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larence Beck, son Stephen Larry Beck, sisters Avis Weeks and husband Fred, Florence Ellsworth and husband Dick, Myrtle Beck and husband Alton, granddaughter Christine Benson, two great-granddaughters, Kacia Marie Peterson and Ivy Renae Beck. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone, Green River. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday June 22, 2012 at the church and also 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday prior to the services at the church. Interment will take place in the McKinnon Cemetery, McKinnon, Wyoming.
