Bernice "Bee" R. Gordon

Bernice “Bee” R. Gordon Rock Springs - Bernice “Bee” R. Gordon, 73, of Rock Springs, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 in Rock Springs after a short illness. She was born October 21, 1935 in White Plains, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Gladys Heeker Sullo. She attended elementary schools in California and graduated from Baldwin Park High School with the class of 1954. She also attended Mt. San Antonio College in California for a few years. She married Ray D. Gordon on October 10, 1959 in El Monte, California. Her interests were gardening, politics, dog sledding, her pet cats, and bird watching. Survivors include her husband, Ray Gordon of Rock Springs; sons, Donald Gordon of Denver, Colorado, and Raymond Gordon of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters Linda Gordon or Baldwin Park, California, and Cassandra VanVleet and husband Dave of Mountain View, Wyoming; and sister-in-law, Dolores of Ohio; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Joe Sullo Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the American Legion, 543 Broadway, Rock Springs.
