Berniece Dorrence Chetterbock Lammela Rock Springs - Berniece Rose Dorrence Chetterbock Lammela, 73, of Rock Springs, died December 18, 2007 at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs where she had been a resident for 2 ½ years. She was born on November 22, 1934 in Rock Springs, the daughter of William and Ozella Coulston Dorrence.. She was raised and educated in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1952. She married William Chetterbock. He preceded her in death. She later married George Lammela in 1968. Survivors include her husband George of Rock Springs; one son, William Chetterbock of Fruitland, NM; two daughters, Mrs. Mitchell (Shelley) Wolfe of Pinedale, and Mrs. Bob (Carol) Ingram of Oso, WA; one brother, Sam Dorrence of Centennial, WY; one sister, Mrs. Rudy (Susan) Magagna of Rock Springs; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother “Little Bill” Dorrence. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. At her long-standing request, there will be no services.
