Betty Ratcliff

Betty Ratcliff Rock Springs - Betty Ratcliff, 84, of Rock Springs, died August 30, 2008 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born June 10, 1924 in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of Earl and Ethel Hewitt Bogue. She attended schools in Kokomo and married John H. Ratcliff on May 17, 1947 in Kokomo. He preceded her in death in 1993. She soon after moved to Rock Springs to live with her son. She was a member of the New Life Ministries of Rock Springs. Survivors include her son John R. Ratcliff and wife Phyllis of Rock Springs; daughter Nancy Burkholder and husband Phillip of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Paul Bogue, Wayne Bogue, and Alvin Bogue; sisters, Edna Blaylock and Hazel Adams; 6 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Ethel Bogue, husband John H. Ratcliff, sisters Naomi, Martha, and Wilma, brothers, Glen, Melvin and Robert Bogue. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the New Life Ministries, 105 K St., Rock Springs. Rev. Jesse Ybarra will officiate. Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
