Beverly Brough Rock Springs - Beverly Brough, 83, of Rock Springs died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Sage View Convalescent center after a lengthy illness. She was born February 21, 1928 in San Pedro, California, the daughter of Blake Virl Peay and Sadie V. Boyd Peay. She attended schools in Provo, Utah and graduated from Provo High School with the class of 1946. She married Robert Brough July 19, 1952 in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death January 3, 1973. She had been employed at GibsonÂ’s, City Market and Young At Heart Senior Citizens Center in Rock Springs. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as Relief Society and Primary teacher and cub scout leader. Her interests were making levi quilts, the outdoors, traveling, gardening, cooking, and listening to fishing stories, and being with her family. Survivors include sons Doug Brough and wife Barbara of Rock Springs, Dave Brough and wife Susan of Salt Lake City, and Ed Brough of Rock Springs; daughter Marilyn Veesart and husband Louie of Rock Springs; daughter-in-law Linda Brough of Rock Springs; brother Blake Peay Jr. and wife Lori of Randlett, Utah; sister Bonnie Shaffer and husband Steve of South Santaquin, Utah; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Brough, son Mike Brough, daughter Shirley Ann Brough, brothers Boyd and Byron Peay. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Avalon Cemetery, Randlett, Utah. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Marilyn Veesart, 1036 Elm Way, Rock Springs.
