Bobette Martin

Bobette Martin Green River - Bobette Martin, 66, of Green River, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah after a brief illness. She was born May 9, 1950 in Greeley, Colorado, the daughter of Bob Jackson and Shirley Marley Jackson. Bobette had served for the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office for over 20 years. She loved reading mystery novels, spending time working in her yard, wildlife and enjoying her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children Lisa Peterson, Vicki Ryans, Ross Martin and Lance Martin; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Jackson, mother Shirley Jackson, son Ryan Martin, and sister Debra Martin. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Green River LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 1000 W 4th North, Green River. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
