Bodie Gene Moody Rock Springs - Bodie Gene Moody, 28, of Rock Springs died Saturday, July 17, 2010 while hiking in Sublette County. He was born August 5, 1981, in Craig, Colorado, the son of Gene Moody and Paula Marie Gilmore. He attended schools in Mountain View and Green River graduating from Green River High School with the class of 2000. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His interest included his nieces and nephews, movies, video games, music writing and reading poetry, speech and debate in high school where he won regional awards, bowling, sports, fishing, humor, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his father Gene Moody of Fruita Colorado; mother Paula or Green River; brother Casey Moody of Williamsport Pennsylvania; sisters Anna Moody, and Mya Boren and husband Justin all of Rock Springs, and Brook Moody of Green River; grandmothers Peggy Jean Moody of Thermopolis, and Geneva Gilmore of Worland ; nieces and nephews Vincent, Zavi, Kell, Aria, Colton and Stetson; 5 aunts, 3 uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Leveston Moody and Ivan �Bud� Gilmore, daughter Ariana Peyton Moody, cousins Jenny Lohmiller, Nathan Wille, Chaz Ready, and Benjamin Gilmore. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 30, 2010 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone, Green River. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday July 29, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Friday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River. Donations can be made to The Bodie Moody Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo branch.
