Brenda Joan Johnson

Brenda Joan Johnson Rock Springs- Brenda Joan Johnson, of Rock Springs died Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Salt Lake City from complications resulting from a stroke. She was a longtime resident of Rock Springs. She was born December 24,1951 in Coalville, Utah, the daughter of Ray and Marjorie V. Brown. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. She married John Johnson June 28, 1985 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her interests centered around her family and her church service. Survivors include her husband John of Rock Springs; son Jedidiah (April) Johnson of Salt Lake City; step-daughter Wendy Stubblefield of Pace, FL; stepson Nathan (Kim) Johnson of Grantsville, Utah; many grandchildren;1 great-grandchild; sisters MarJean (Jim) Parker of Utah, Dorothy Ovard of Utah, Irene (Brent) Weber of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Marjorie Brown, and two brothers, Don Brown(2010) and Jeff Brown(1965). Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday June 13, 2015 at the Rock Springs LDS Stake Center, 2055 Edgar St., Rock Springs. A viewing will be held 6-8p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Saturday 9:30 am - 10:30 am at the church. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
