Candice Diane Bucknell

Rock Springs - Candice Diane Bucknell, 11, of Rock Springs died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. She was born July 28, 1995 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Robert David Bucknell and Tammy Annette Giles. Survivors include her parents of Rock Springs; brother, Austin Giles Bucknell of Rock Springs; grandparents, Ronald P. and Alicia Orona Giles, Margaret Bucknell and James E. Bucknell all of Rock Springs; great-grandfather, Henry H. Giles of New Berry, South Carolina, great-grandmother Anita V. Orona of Las Cruces, New Mexico; two aunts, Alicia Orona Plumb and husband Noval of Pensacola, Florida, and Gwendolyn Diane Fletcher and husband Harley of Gillette, WY; two uncles, James R. Bucknell of Kinnear, WY, and Ronald P. Giles II of Rock Springs; cousins, Tyler, Brianne, and Lauren Plumb all Pensacola, Florida, Logan Smith of Gillete, WY, and Alizabeth Ratcliff both Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Pablo R. Orona, great-grandmother Ethel Giles, and great-grandparents Rose Ann and Russell Bucknell, great-aunt Dora Segovia, great-uncle Herbert H. Giles. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday March 9, 2007 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. In lieu of flowers , family request donations to be made to Primary ChildrenÂ’s Hospital, 100 N.
