Carl F. Maser Rock Springs - Carl F. Maser, 76, of Rock Springs died Monday, February 15, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. He has lived in Rock Springs for the past 4 years and was a former resident of Casper. He was born January 1, 1934 in Cheyenne, the son of Alexander Maser and Lydia E. Hehr Maser. He married Ruth Johnson July 3, 1953 in Casper. She preceded him in death October 4, 2004. He attended the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church. His interests include fishing, Nascar racing, hunting and camping. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Maser and wife Patty of Cedar City, Utah, Donald Maser and wife Janell of Rock Springs; two daughters, Debra Franich and husband Richard of Rock Springs, Nancy Wilhite and husband Dave of Bunnel, Florida; brother Alex Maser and wife Annie of Rock Springs; two sisters, Alvina Holmes and Betty Colburn both of Roy, Utah; grandchildren, Jeff and Patty Maser, Ricky and Kelly Franich, Holly and Trent Falcione, Kevin and Tabitha Maser, Heather and Marty Kleeman, Kristy and Todd Beia, Carl F. Maser II, Jenny and Eric Gunyan, Breann Eden, Alycia Knutson, Briana Nicol, Maddi Nicol, and Kyndsey Nicol. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Maser, brother Edward H. Maser, and sister Ester Crawford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church, 125 Firestone Rd, Rock Springs. Pastor Richard Carlson will officiate. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs, and on Monday one hour prior to the services at the church. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Inurnment will take place at the Wyoming Memorial Gardens in Casper, Wyoming.
