Carman Azell Rhoads Wollman
Rock Springs - Carman Azell Rhoads Wollman, 78, of Rock Springs died August 11, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family after being in ill health for the past two years.
She was born March 1, 1934 in Hurdsfield, North Dakota, the daughter of Harold Rhoads and Sybil Workman Rhoads. She attended school in Hurdsfield and graduated with the class of 1952. She taught school for several years until the time of her marriage.
She married Ervin Wollman on June 19, 1955 in Hurdsfield. The newly married couple moved often because of Ervin’s work but finding a church to attend was always important to the couple.
She had worked at Ernst in customer services and then at Bowen Tools as a secretary while living in Rock Springs.
Her interests were spending time with her family, being involved with church, crafts, cooking, shopping and enjoying life’s blessings.
Survivors include her husband Ervin Wollman of Rock Springs; sons, Blake Wollman and wife Tammy and Wade Wollman and wife Kayleen all of Rock Springs; daughter Marlys Sparks and husband Mike of Green River; sister, Mary Brunagel and husband Alvin of Bismark, North Dakota; brothers Dusty Rhoads of Newtown, North Dakota, and Luther Rhoads and wife Dorothy of Belfield, North Dakota; grandchildren Mandi Wyatt and husband Jason of Woodland, California, Clavin Leischer and wife Roxi of Rangely, Colorado, Nichole Ribordy and husband Jake, Nate Wollman and wife Ellen all of Rock Springs, Brittany Rushing and husband Matt and Natalee Wollman all of Green River, and Kyle Wollman and wife Erica; great-grandchildren, Angelyse Wyatt, Cash Leischer, Cameron, Mackenzie and Noah Ribordy, Paxton Woolman, and Hunter and Brooks Rushing; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Rock Springs Christian Church, 124 2nd St., Rock Springs with Pastor Michael Longfellow officiating.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
Additional services and interment will take place in North Dakota.
