Connie Luckey Bernard

Rock Springs, WY - Connie Luckey Bernard, 45, of Rock Springs, died July 25, 2008 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 14, 1962 in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of James and Edith Henning Luckey. She attended schools in Rock Springs and married Tracy Bernard. They were later divorced. Connie had been employed as a dispatcher for Basic Energy for many years. Her interests were camping, boating, and spending time with her friends. She was involved each year with events that raised money for the fight against cancer such as the chili cook-off, golf tournaments, and the crawfish boil. She was called "Aunt Nonnie" to all her friends children. Survivors include her father and step-mother, James and Carolyn Luckey of Rock Springs; one sister, Linda Luckey of Rock Springs; 6 aunts and 2 uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Luckey, grandparents, Carl & Eva Henning, Carl & Marge Luckey, and several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
