Craig Ronald Larsen Rock Springs - Craig Ronald Larsen, 57, of Rock Springs died August 2, 2016 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born January 30, 1959 in Rawlins, WY, the son of Norman Kermitt Larsen and Edna Marie Carlson Larsen. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1977. He also attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT receiving his Bachelor of Science degree. He married Charlene Nan Stewart in 1985 in Rock Springs. He had worked for WYDOT as a maintenance supervisor and also North Sweetwater Water & Sewer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #151 in Rock Springs and Past Worthy President (1991, 1993, & 2000), Past Worthy State President (2000-2001). His interests were spending time at the cabin, his family, his pets, woodworking, remodeling his current home and NASCAR. Survivors include his wife Charlene Larsen of Rock Springs; mother Edna Larsen of Rock Springs; brother Keith Byron Larsen of Rock Springs; one nephew and three nieces, and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Norman Larsen, grandparents Carl and Dorothy Larsen, Joseph and Cora Carlson. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Young at Heart Senior Center, 2400 Reagan Ave., Rock Springs.
