Cynthia L. Pirtle

Cynthia L. Pirtle Green River- Cynthia L. Pirtle, 57, of Green River, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 9, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 5, 1956 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, the daughter of Billy Pogue and Delores Moyers Pogue. She married Dennis Pirtle on January 27, 1978 in Fredericktown, MO. She worked as a customer service manager for the Sweetwater Federal Credit Union. She was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church in Green River. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, reading, and traveling. Survivors include her husband Dennis Pirtle of Green River; parents Bill and Delores Pogue of Fredericktown, MO; sons Michael Pirtle and wife Lindsay of Bountiful,UT, Jeremy Pirtle of Conroe,TX; daughter Lori George and husband Steve of Green River WY; brother Danny Pogue and wife Janice of St. Louis, MO; sister Sheila Hibbitts and husband Bob of Hillsboro, MO; grandchildren Zakree Pirtle, Reagan Pirtle, Colton Sheets, Olivia Sheets, Stevie George, and Maylee Pirtle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins ,nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Ralph and Virginia Pirtle, grandparents Claude and Ethel Pogue, Edna and Harry Moyers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Hilltop Baptist Church, 405 Faith Dr., Green River, Wyoming. Friends may call 6-7 pm Monday, October 13, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
