Daniel Lubick

Daniel J. Lubick Sheridan- Daniel Joseph Lubick, 64, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, in the VA hospital in Sheridan. He was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Butte, Mont., the son of Phyllis (Walker) and Walter Lubick, He graduated from Greeley School and Butte High School. He then joined the Army and did tours of duty in Vietnam. He married Ann Ellifritz in 1978 in Rock Springs. They had two children, Dan and Kimberly. He drove a truck and also worked in the school bus barn in Rock Springs. His interests included collecting things, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Dan and Kimberly and boyfriend Mike; new grandson, Joseph Andrew who was born Thursday 28, 2008; brothers, Walter and wife Patti Lubick of Great Falls, Mont., Frank and wife Cece Lubick and Tom and wife Linda Lubick of Butte; sisters, Judy and husband Bill Henderson of Butte and Pam and husband Larry Lee of Clifton, Colo.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and both mother- and father-in-law. Cremation has taken place. Military memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at the American Legion Archie Hay Post 24, 543 Broadway, Rock Springs. Military honors and inurnment will be in the Veterans Section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery
