Dawn Karina Fenton Green River - Dawn Karina Fenton, 39, of Green River, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home where she lived with her mother Dianne and niece Isabelle. She was born April 27, 1974 in Price, Utah, the daughter of James L. Fenton and E. Dianne Cox Fenton. She attended schools in Green River and Kemmerer and graduated with honors from Kemmerer High School with the class of 1992. She also received a Dean’s Scholarship and attended USC, and WWCC in Rock Springs where she received her Associate of Business degree. She moved to Kemmerer in 1983 where she was paralyzed in a diving accident in 1988. She returned to Green River in 1996. She worked as a Mary Kay Consultant for many years. She was a member of the Green River Alliance Church where she taught Bible Study, was a Deaconess, Treasure Seekers Leader, Sunday School teacher, and was actively involved for the past 16 years. Her interests were reading, working the computer, and spending time with her family, nieces and nephews. Survivors include her mother Dianne Fenton of Green River; brothers James M. Fenton of Reno, Nevada, and William H. Fenton of Green River; sisters Diane M. Richmond and husband Steve of Anchorage, Alaska, Denise L. Woods of Houston, Texas, Danielle C. Bolan and husband Ron of Helena, Montana; nieces and nephews Isabelle Fenton, Katrina Ostoj and husband Matt, Ross Richmond and wife Nicole, Kayla Richmond, Kim Bolan, and Matt Bolan; great niece Emily Ostoj. She was preceded in death by her father James Fenton, and sister Deborah J. Fenton. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Green River Alliance Church, 2190 W. Teton Blvd, Green River. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery, Butte, Montana. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Green River Alliance Church, 2190 W. Teton Blvd., Green River 82935 in her name which will be used for missions.
