Dean LaMonte Hill Green River - Dean LaMonte Hill, 53, of Green River, died Friday, August 29, 2008 in Fremont County from injuries sustained in a motor cycle accident. He was born August 21, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Willard Eugene and Nettie Vice Hill. He attended schools in Jensen, Utah and graduated for Aspen High School, Aspen Colorado with the class of 1974. He also attended Utah Valley Technical College in Orem, Utah and Salt Lake Community College. Dean married Tammee Velloy Jarvie on February 14, 1984 in the Logan LDS Temple, Logan, Utah. He was owner and operator of Dino’s Plumbing & Heating in Green River. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the Harley’s Owners Group (HOG) and had served on the Green River Arbitration Board. His interests were his family, the outdoors, motorcycles, snowmobiling, and car and bike restoring. Survivors include his wife Tammee of Green River; two sons, Monte and Colbey Hill of Green River; one daughter, Jadriane Hill of Green River; mother, Nettie Hill of Vernal, Utah; five brothers, Gene Hill of Marble, Colorado, Mike Hill of Kona, Hawaii, George Hill of Vernal, Utah, Jeff Hill and wife Alisa of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Tim Hill and wife Shary of Vernal; two sisters, Linda Toone and husband Walter of Hurricane, Utah, and Gail Jack and husband Teddy of Bayfield, Colorado; parents-in-law, Douglas and Eutona Jarvie of Elkridge, Utah; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and nephew, Christopher Hill. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Green River LDS Ward Chapel, 1000 West 4th North, Green River. Friends and family may call 7-9 pm Monday, September 1, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs, and Tuesday 9-11 am at the church in Green River. Interment will take place in the Manila Cemetery, Manila, Utah.
