Debra Sue Weidler Eden, WY - Debra Sue Weidler, 54, of Eden died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs. She was born July 7, 1953 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Julius Zimmerman and Patsy McCain. Debra married Benno D. Weidler in Elko, Nevada twenty years ago. She attended schools in Chicago, Rawlins and Rock Springs. She was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator. Her interests included spending time with her grandson, crafts, quilting, music, and fighting for others’ rights. Survivors include her husband, Benno D. Weidler of Eden; daughter, Brandie Jensen and boyfriend Jug Howard of Rock Springs; father, Julius Zimmerman and wife Betty of Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers, Lyle Zimmerman and wife Jackie Rogers of Gillette, Wyoming, Steve McCain and wife Jan of Springfield, Missouri; son-in-law, Dave Babel and grandson, Dylan Babel both of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Lasco; daughter, Danielle Jensen; previous husband, Keith Castillo. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family memorial service to be held at a later date.
