Dee Ann Fowler
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend returned to our heavenly father on July 3. Dee Ann was born to Dean and Laura Forman on Jan. 28, 1945. She was the first of four children.
She married Joe Fowler not only once but twice — a secret elopement to Las Vegas on June 18, 1985, then again in a “shotgun wedding” on July 20, 1985. Together as a blended family they shared nine children, 27 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Dee loved the outdoors and anything that engaged her with her family.
Her number one pride and joy, however, was her grandchildren. She had a very close, special, and unique bond with each and every one of them. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her was able to see her as the loving, selfless, amazing person she was. The Lord loaned us this precious angel 71 years ago and now he has called her home.
Dee is survived by her husband Joe Fowler; children Ric (Brenda) Caves, Christina Caves, Cody (Julie) Caves, Mike (Haley) Caves, Tony (Sherri) Fowler, Nichole (Jason) Balser, Jamie Jensen and Angelia Holloway; two brothers Carl (Eleanor) Forman and Jim Forman; one sister Norma Merrill; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Dee is preceded in death by her parents Dean and Laura Forman and by two sons Mark Allan Caves and Robert Charles Lee Caves.
So to our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, aunt, sister and friend, we love you, and you will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
