Denise Renee Douglas-Waters Rock Springs - Denise Renee Douglas-Waters, 50, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness. She was born August 12, 1962 in Pensacola, Florida, the daughter of Richard Wilson and Carol Crandall Wilson. She attended schools in Alabama and graduated from Decatur High School, Decatur, Alabama. She also received her EMT certification in Nevada. She was a truck driver and worked for MBI Energy Services for the last year. She was a member of the Decatur Baptist Church. Her interests were camping, traveling, crocheting, and spending time with her granddaughter and friends. Survivors include her mother Carol Wilson of Alabama; daughter Nicole Nance and husband Curtis of Rock Springs; brothers Reed Wilson of West Virginia, and Troy Douglas and wife Julie of Alabama; sisters Cathy Barrett and husband Kim of Rigby, Idaho, Stephanie Barnett and husband John of Alabama, Sue Smith and fiancé Bill Claye of Rock Springs; grandchildren Harlie Nance and Levi Heard; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wilson, son Levi Hokanson, and stepmother Jan Douglas. A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
