Dian L. Hanson

Green River - Dian L. Hanson, 57, of Green River, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness from Cancer. She was born August 16, 1949 in Alexandria, Minnesota, the daughter of Vernal Duane Hanson and Marion Jane Faltinoski. She attended schools in Virginia, Minnesota. Dian had been employed with Pizza Hut in Green River for many years, retiring in 1999. She was active in the American Diabetes Association. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests were cross stitching, handcrafts, cooking and cake decorating. Survivors include one son, Kevin Hanson of Green River; two sisters, Donna Crowell of Elko, Nevada, and Luann Forness of Virginia, Minnesota; best friend Bennie Hayward of Green River; nephews, Chad Crowell of Green River and Ryan Forness of Washington; nieces, Amy VanKam of Rock Springs, Stacy Robillard of Eveleth, Minnesota, and Dana Forness of Virginia, Minnesota; great niece Ellie Robillard and great nephew, Braden VanKam; several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernal and Marion Hanson. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday March 12, 2007 at the Green River LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 1000 N 4th W, Green River. Inurnment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery.
