Donald Lynn Strange Green River - Donald Lynn Strange, 64, died Wednesday, March 26th, 2014 at his home in Green River surrounded by family following a brief illness. He was born May 25th, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Ronald W and Virginia L (Ramsey) Strange. He graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 1967. He attended colleges at Butler County Junior College in El Dorado, KS. and Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. He worked as a pipefitter-welder in several states, moving to Wyoming in 1977. He was a 35 year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 192. He married Deborah (Benedict) Kolar February 8th, 1998 in Green River. His interests were hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, singing, music and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife Deborah Strange of Green River; four sons, Zachariah, Travis, Zebuleon, and Theron and wife Sadie Strange all of Green River; two daughters, Sarah Birkett and husband Chris of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Audrey Marceau and husband Ryan of Billings, Montana; brother Ronald Strange II and wife Toni of Wichita; nine grandchildren, Ryker Strange, Waleon and Dylan Strange, Kelby Pope and Kiley Strange, Avari and Evie Birkett, Aiden and Cal Marceau; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; one aunt and one uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Virginia Strange, brother Aron G Strange, and granddaughter Grace Lynn Strange. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory. A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 pm Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 88 North 2nd East St, Green River.
