Donna Rose Flemming

Rock Springs – Donna Rose Fleming, 58, of Rock Springs, died Monday June 7, 2004 at LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City after a lengthy illness. Donna was born April 3, 1946 in Rock Springs the daughter of Alfred “Bud” and Grace Scott Schurman. She attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1964. She also attended Parks Business School in Denver, Colorado. On December 29, 1965 she married Ronald James Fleming in Salt Lake City, Utah. Donna was employed as a secretary for Little America for 30 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her interests included shopping, camping, reading, people, and spending time with family and grandkids. Survivors include her mother Grace Field and stepfather “Skinny” Field of Rock Springs; husband Ronald James Fleming, one son, Daniel Fleming and wife Cindy, all of Rock Springs; one daughter, Jean Kimball and husband Greg of Gilbert, Arizona; four sisters, Bonnie Hanks and husband Ken of Evanston, Wyoming, Betty Newman and husband John of Riverton, Utah, Gail Fortuna and husband Joe of Rock Springs, and Gladys Arnette and husband Bill of Oshkosh, Nebraska; six grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father “Bud” Schurman, and one brother Johnny Schurman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 12, 2004, at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call 3-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday one hour prior to services. Internment will be in Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
