Donna Gross

Donna M. Gross Green River - Donna M. Gross, 94, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River, where she had been in ill health for four days. She was born March 9, 1918, to Katherine Stimac and Edward Thomas in Crosby, Minn. She married Walter M. Gross on Aug. 31, 1948. They moved to Reliance. She worked at El Rancho Motel, Kimberly Manor and Finer Cleaners until her she retired. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Her interests included gardening, fishing and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by two sons, Gary Gross of Rock Springs and Dennis Gross of Jackson. Two daughters, Judy Lipari of Rock Springs and Jane Campbell and husband Robert of Rock Springs; 12 grandchildren, Stacey and Kelly Gross of Rock Springs, Raelynn Erickson of Gillette, Carrie Beasley of Lovell, Dennis and wife Beth Irby of Santee, Calif., Vernon and wife Mandi Irby, Christopher and wife Nicki Irby and Daniel Irby and Barbi Irby Numez, all of Tucson, Ariz., Brian Siler of Dallas, Krystal Siler of Dallas and Tiffany and husband Lee Jones of Rock Springs; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; daughter, Diane Erickson; son, Donald Thomas; and great-granddaughter, Emma “Bug” Wolf. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3101 College Drive, Rock Springs where friends may call at 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
