Doreen Wilde

Doreen Grace Wilde Rock Springs - Doreen Grace Wilde, 50, of Rock Springs passed away February 13, 2014 at Able Hands group home, where she had resided for the last three years. She was born July 3, 1963 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Don Ray Wilde and Pauline Moore Wilde. Doreen attended schools in Green River and graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1986. She worked and lived at SWRC (Sweetwater Rehabilitation Center) from 1988 to 2009. In February of 2010, she moved into her current residence, Able Hands, where she spent her time learning life skills and enjoying her friends. Doreen enjoyed many years participating and medaling in Special Olympics events: bowling, gymnastics, swimming and track and field. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, dancing, bowling, camping and making people laugh. She is survived by her brothers, Paul Wilde (Nancy), Brent Wilde, and sister, Donna Rae Kemp (Ray); many nieces and nephews; many great nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Ray Wilde and Pauline Moore Wilde and stepfather, Walter Ned Cole. The family of Doreen Grace Wilde would like to thank all of the people that guided and took care of her over her lifetime. We would also like to extend a special thank you to her social worker and everyone at Able Hands and Hospice of Sweetwater County. A viewing will take place from 4-8 pm Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Coalville Cemetery, Coalville, Utah. In lieu of flowers, the family and friends of Doreen Grace Wilde respectfully request donations to be made in her memory to Hospice of Sweetwater County.
