Dorothy Page Green River - Dorothy Elizabeth Robinson Page left this life peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center, Green River, Wyoming, where she had lived for the past 9 months. Dorothy enjoyed 98 years of love and laughter with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her delightful sense of humor, her loving and compassionate nature and especially for her crazy shoes and socks. Dorothy had a zest for life and a passion for helping kids, cats, dogs and other strays. She was a volunteer for many years in the Wheatland school system, helping children through the intricate hoops of learning to read. All who knew her loved her. She was born May 21, 1912 in Wheatland, the daughter of Howard Archer and Elizabeth McLaughlin Robinson. She is survived by her son James B. Page and wife Karen, of Laramie, daughter JaNell P. Hunter and husband Robert of Green River, 9 grandchildren, Jamie (Thiess) Lindsay, Kelly (Marc) Green, Erin (Kenny) Druce, Robert Page Hunter, Hannah Page, Scooter Page, Richard Page, Rebekah Page and Jennie Page, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a world full of friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank D. Robinson, and her husband of 59 years, LeGrande T. Page. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 28th, at the Wheatland LDS Chapel, 2956 S. Rd, Wheatland, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church prior to the funeral, beginning at 10 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to Castle Rock Convalescent Center, 1445 Uinta Drive, Green River, WY 82935. Anyone with a special memory of Dorothy is invited to write it for sharing with her family and friends following the service.
