Eillen Saylor

Eillen Joan Saylor Rock Springs - Eillen Joan Saylor, 77, of Rock Springs died August 11, 2011 at her home after a short illness. She was born March 20, 1934 in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Donald Duncan Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Martin Marshall. She married James L. “Popeye” Saylor Sr. on August 3, 1949 in Reno, Nevada (married forever). She was employed as a bus driver for Sweetwater School Dist. #1 for 8 years. Her interests were her family, gardening, and animals. Survivors include her husband James L. “Popeye” Saylor Sr. of Rock Springs; sons James L. Saylor Jr. of Chillacothe, Ohio and Timothy Andrew Saylor of Santa Barbara, California; daughters, Debbie Doak and husband Dennis of Yuma, Arizona, and Lela Henderson and husband Chuck of Rock Springs; sisters Dorothy Lee Marshall and Sharon Marshall both of Napa, California; grandchildren Chuckie Ray, Daniel, Jennifer and Brandy; great-grandchildren, Zane, Lance, Hunter, Logan and Saylor; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Daniel Saylor, brothers Bob Marshall and Bussy Marshall. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
