Green River- Eleanor Lynn Rose, 74, of Green River died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River after a short illness..
She was born April 27, 1935 in Boulder, Montana, the daughter of George Everette TenEyck and Eleanor Amanda Stemple Rose.
She attended schools in Boulder, Montana and junior high and high school in Wallace, Idaho.
She had been employed with the Castle Rock Convalescent Center as a CNA from 1989 until her retirement in 2004.
Her interests were crossword puzzles, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren, and helping less fortunate people.
Survivors include her son, Robert Funk and wife Debbie of Kellogg, Idaho; sisters, Phyllis and husband Jim Baker of Green River, Rene Fausett and husband Dex of Osburn, Idaho; grandchildren, Robert and Amanda Funk of Kellogg, Idaho, Amber Jones and husband Erik of Vernal, Utah, Mary Smith and husband Randy of Osburn, Idaho, and Jeff Hansen and wife Trina and children of Silverton, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jauslyn, Aston, & Madison; one niece and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Billie High and Cindy Stamps, mother Eleanor Rose, father George E. TenEyck, and brother Marshall TenEyck.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
At her request no services will be held.
