Elna Z. Larimore

Rock Springs - Elna Z. Larimore , 77 died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at her home in Rock Springs after a short illness. She was born on January 12, 1930 in Franklin, Idaho, the daughter of Roscoe D. and Louisa Wilkinson Zumbrennen. Elna was the fourth of five children and was the oldest twin. Elna attended schools in Cokeville and graduated from Cokeville High School with the class of 1948. She moved to Rock Springs in 1948. She married Robert Lee Larimore on November 7,1949 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal LDS Temple. After their marriage, they lived in Green River. Elna moved back to Rock Springs in 2003 where she has resided until her death. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests were her family, her church, and dancing. She was a volunteer for the senior citizen center. Survivors include one daughter; Karen Rene Ennis and husband Alan of Rock Springs; sisters, Helen Kroll and husband George, and twin sister Elma Lentz; 9 grandchildren, John Kalivas and wife Nina, Paul Kalivas and wife Kym, Dawn Jewkes, Larry Paxton, Nick Kalivas and wife Landa, Sally Albrighton and husband Luke, Amy Scharf and husband Cheyenne, Nathan Larimore-Olsen and Sarah Larimore-Olsen; 13 great-grandchildren; friend and companion, Jim Rafferty; several nieces and nephews. Elna was preceded in death by parents, husband Robert, daughter Laura, two sisters, Rhoda and Ina, and one grandson Robert Paxton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone, Green River. Friends may call 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Monday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
