Eufelia (Faye) Lucero

Eufelia “Faye” Lucero Green River - Eufelia “Faye” Lucero, 92, of Green River died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. She was born April 5, 1920 in Holman, New Mexico, the daughter of Agapito Cordova and Librarita Martinez Cordova. She married Jose C. Lucero in Holman, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Green River. Her interests were camping, fishing, playing bingo, dancing and her family. Survivors include her sons Gilbert “Gibby” Lucero, Micheal Lucero, Bert Lucero and Jose C. Lucero all of Green River; daughters Lillian Trujillo of Rock Springs, Jane Seelen, Eva Gilmore and Lorraine Thaler all of Green River; brother Sam Cordova of California; 32 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Jose C. Lucero, brother Mike, sisters Sophie Martinez, Henovera Cordova, Fidencia Cordova, and Viola Olivas, one son and two grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday June 18, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 900 Hitching Post Dr., Green River. Rev. Tom Sheridan will be officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Interment will take place Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Mora, New Mexico.
