Eunice Stephens

Eunice F. Stephens Rock Springs - Eunice F. Stephens, 71, of Rock Springs died Friday June 6, 2014 at Deseret Health and Rehab in Rock Springs. She was born November 11, 1942 in McClelland, Arkansas, the daughter of William Henry Stephens and Mollie Alice Jackson Stephens. She attended schools in Dade City, Florida and graduated from Pasco High School. She worked as a seamstress for Van Huesen for 25 years until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her interest were gardening, quilting, playing bingo, and swimming. Survivors include her son Lawrence T. Stephens and wife Lusi of Rock Springs; sister Carole Duitsman of Overland Park, Kansas, Viola Hurd of Austin, Arkansas, and Gracie Powell of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandchildren Craig and TJ; great-grandchildren Taylor Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert and Thomas Stephens, sister Jewel Johnson, Margaret Griffin, and Edna Orsborne. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Family services will be held at a later date in Florida.
