Evonne Colvin

Evonne Colvin Casper - Evonne Christine Colvin,48, of Casper, died September 8, 2009 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born June 28, 1961 in Sheridan, Wyoming, the daughter of Edward H. and Marilyn A. Moffet Miller. She attended schools in Sheridan. Evonne married Scott C. Colvin on September 14, 1986 in Rock Springs. They were later divorced. She had been employed as an assistant housekeeper for the Holiday Inn Express in Casper. Her interests were hunting, camping, gardening, and cooking. Survivors include 2 daughters, Stacy Colleen Colvin and Shelby Lee Colvin both of Rock Springs; one brother, Edward G. Miller and wife Ronda of Gillette; two sisters, Carolyn L. Halstead and husband Roger of Rock Springs, Sandra K. Holt and husband Roy of Baggs, Wyoming; special companion Mark Duletsky of Casper; numerous cousins; and numerous nephews and nieces that called her “Aunt Vonnie”. She was preceded in death by her parents, niece Robin Halstead, and nephew Justin Schimmer. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Inurnment will follow at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
