Riverton - Frances Eileen McDaniels, 79, died October 31, 2004 at her home in Riverton. She was born May 17, 1925 in Peerless, Montana the daughter of Leslie Mc Hoes and Ruth Morgan Mc Hoes Rogers.
She was married to Francis J. Riley and Claude E. McDaniels, both whom she later divorced.
She was a master at fine needlework, sewing, embroidering, tatting, knitting, quilting and crocheting exquisite gifts for her family and friends. She loved reading and never lost her curiosity and inquisitiveness about the world around her.
She enjoyed traveling with her brother Donald. She loved animals, especially her cats and squirrels.
She is survived by her three children, Judith Milton and husband Don of Deming NM, Patrick Riley of Williston, ND, Claudia Sellers and husband Gary of Rock Springs, WY. One brother Donald Rogers, one sister, Dorothy Rogers, and sister-in-law Alice Rogers. Grandchildren, Eric Milton, Francis Riley, Shannon Schoenwald, Dawn Pflieger, Travis Sellers, Becky Nelson, David Sellers and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Leo Rogers, Vincent Mc Hoes, Rusty Mc Hoes, and Roland “Squeaky” Mc Hoes. Her grandsons Patrick J. Riley Jr. and Douglas E. Milton.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Senior Citizens Center, 303 E. Lincoln, Riverton, Wyoming.
