Francis Lee Back
Green River - Francis Lee Back, 91, of Green River died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River. He was a former resident of Farson.
He was born October 12, 1922 in Dover, Oklahoma, the son of Henry Francis and Hattie Back.
He attended schools in Moore, Oklahoma and graduated from Moore High School with the class of 1940. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy.
After the service, he work as a warehouseman at the Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Later he worked as a janitor at the University of Oklahoma.
He married Dorothy Back in Oklahoma. She preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Oklahoma. He was also a member of the Methodist Church.
His interests were watching old westerns, fishing, watch football, and hunting.
Survivors include his sons John Back and wife Debbie of Farson, Henry Clyde Back and wife Helen, Richard Clay Back, Curtis Van Back and wife Brenda all of Del City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Debbie, Brandi, Christy and Cody; 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Back, and one brother Henry Clyde Back.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
Private family services will be held at a later time.
