Frank Eugene Key Boulder - Frank Eugene Key, 75, of Boulder died Friday, September 7, 2012 at the St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson after a lengthy illness. He was born April 2, 1937 in Dallas, Texas, the son of William E. Key and Mable Carrol Key. He attended schools in Porterville, California. He married Marilyn Brown May 23, 1956 in Rock Springs. He worked as a foreman for FMC for 22 years. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a Mason while living in California. His interests were fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, and rock hunting. Survivors include his wife Marilyn F. Key of Boulder; son Rick Eugene Key of Boulder; daughters Vicki Lynn Stephens and Tracy LeAnn Thomasson both of Rim Rock, Arizona; brother Paul Key of California; sister Wanda Jo Edwards of Visalia, California; grandchildren, Craig Stephens, Christopher Key, and Shannun Thomasson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother LaVern Key, and sister Vivian Nichols. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held at a later date.
