Gatha Ellett Larsen Rock Springs - Gatha Ellett Larsen,83, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Deseret Health and Rehab Center in Rock Springs. She was born April 19,1931 in Bicknell, Utah, the daughter of Charles Leland Ellett and Cleo Chasity Albrecht Ellett. She attended Wayne High School in Bicknell. She married Lowell S. Larson October 11, 1947 in Fremont, Wayne County, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on April 30,1966. Her husband preceded her in death December 3,2009. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests were sewing, baking, and gardening. Survivors include her sons John Leland Larsen and Lloyd Charles Larsen both of Lander; daughter Kathie McFarlane of Rock Springs; brothers Charles Ellett of Glenwood, Utah and Dewight Ellett of Fremont, Utah; sister Bonnie Brown of Loa, Utah; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Leland and Cleo Ellett ,husband Lowell S. Larsen, sons Douglas Lowell Larsen and Sheldon Kaye Larsen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday June 12, 2014 at the White Mountain LDS Chapel, 3315 White Mountain Blvd. Rock Springs, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the services at the church. Additional funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Bicknell LDS Chapel, Bicknell, Utah Interment will follow at the Bicknell Cemetery in Bicknell.
