Gerald William Boschetto
Rock Springs - Gerald “Gerry” William Boschetto, 51, a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 15, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Gerald Boschetto and Sharon Ranta Boschetto.
He attended schools in Rock Springs and Jackson and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1978. He also attended Western Wyoming Community College.
He married Claudia Ann Rouse June 12, 1981 in Rock Springs.
Gerry was employed in the oil fields for many years and as a PVF salesman. He was most recently working for Amigos Equipment.
He served as Vice President of the Pla Mor Majors bowling club.
His interests were golfing, bowling, dirt bike riding, reading, camping, boating and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Claudia Boschetto of Rock Springs; son Vincent Claude Boschetto of Rock Springs; daughters Brittany Ann Boschetto and husband Andy Metz of Rock Springs, Alissa Irene Davis and husband Tate of Green River, and Gerrica Dee Boschetto of Rock Springs; brother Burk Boschetto of Las Vegas; granddaughter Macy Ann Davis of Green River; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Sharon Boschetto.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Sweetwater Events Complex, 3320 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Saturday one hour prior to the services at the events complex.
Interment will following at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery, Rock Springs.
Friends and family are invited after the graveside, to return to the events complex for a luncheon.
Family requests that everyone bring a favorite picture of them and Gerald to be included in a scrapbook for the family.
Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
