Gertrude Keith

Gertrude A. Keith Rock Springs - Gertrude A. Keith, 88, of Rock Springs died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She was born April 27, 1923 in Dalhart, Texas, the daughter of George W. Eads and Alice May Walker Eads. She married Sherman H. Keith in Clayton, New Mexico June 18, 1948. He preceded her in death in February 1976. She had been employed as a ranch cook and child care provider for many years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Rock Springs. Her interests were church, camping and bible studies. Survivors include one son, Robert Keith of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter Ramona Beauchamp of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters Marjorie Sutton of Dallas, Texas and Geneva Conrad of Kerrville, Texas; grandchildren Sarah, Theresa, Laura and Ben; great-grandchildren Andy, Adryan and Mason; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Alice Eads, husband Sherman Keith, and son Jimmy Keith. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held at a later date.
