August 25, 1944 — May 3, 2008

Rock Springs - Gordon H. Grenier, 63, of Rock Springs died Saturday May 3, 2008 at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, after sudden illness. He was born August 25, 1944 in Rolette, North Dakota, the son of Armand Simeon Grenier and Anne R. Grandbois. Gordon was a graduate of Lander High School. He married Connie M. Jones on November 23, 1985 in Rock Springs. He was employed with I.P.S. in Rock Springs for the last few years. He was a member of the Eagles Fraternal Order No. 151, the Son’s of American Legion and the Catholic Church. His interests included boating, fishing, camping, cookouts, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with friends and family,. Survivors include his wife, Connie Grenier of Rock Springs; daughter, Barbara L. Walker of San Francisco, California; three sons, Darrin L. Grenier, of Houston, Texas, Todd E. Grenier of Spokane, Washington and Brandon A. Grenier of Rock Springs; brother Curtis A. Grenier of Rock Springs; sisters, Jennifer Grenier of Portland, Oregon, Mary C. Ellis and husband Dave of Longmont, Colorado, Gayle S. Farless of Rock Springs; five grandchildren, Dayne R. Grenier, Matthew and Adam Walker, Taylor and Brianna Grenier; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol A. Jenkins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 8, 2008 at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. Father Killian Muli will officiate. Friends may call 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory with inurnment to take place at a later date. Following the service a luncheon will take place at the Eagles, 211 B Street, Rock Springs.
